A delegation representing Russian manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and rehabilitation equipment will take part in the ‘Made in Russia + INNOPROM’ business mission.
The leaders in Russia’s market for medicines – manufacturers of biotechnological products, products for treating a wide range of diseases, including socially significant and rare diseases – will present their expertise at the event.
The delegation for high-tech rehabilitation products is represented by manufacturers of rehabilitation equipment, prostheses, and hearing aids, as well as products for traumatology and orthopedics.
In total, representatives of 15 Russian companies in this industry will come to Riyadh.
The delegation also includes representatives of Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Health’s Scientific Center for the Examination of Medical Products and Sechenov Moscow Medical University, as well as the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade’s State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices and Institute of Medical Materials.
Two of the business mission’s sessions, ‘The Pharmaceutical Industry – Synergy in Healthcare’ and ‘Cooperation in Medical Rehabilitation and Prosthetics, will be dedicated to strengthening partnership relations between the two countries in order to provide their populations with medicine and medical products for rehabilitation and prosthetics.
Representatives from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Paralympic Committee, and rehabilitation and treatment centers were invited to participate in the sessions.
